DateToString Method

Converts a date value into a text representation.

Parameters

date

The date value to convert into a text format.

formatString

The .NET format string for representing date as text.

Return Value

Text representation of the DateTime value.

Remarks

The date value is considered empty when it is the smallest possible date (DateTime.MinValue). If the date is empty, this method returns an empty string. Otherwise it returns the date value formatted based on the formatString parameter.
