ResolveUrl(String,Control) Method

The main purpose of this method is to resolve "~" into the applicationPath. This method is not needed for ASP.Net 2.0, since there is already a ResolveUrl method available at the Control level.

Parameters

url

A relative url, which may or may not contain "~"

control

A reference to a valid control - used to get application specific settings.

Return Value

A relative url with no special characters.
