DataParameterSurrogate Constructor(String,DbType,ParameterDirection)

Creates a surrogate for an IDbDataParameter that can be instantiated in a data provider-independent manner.

Parameters

parameterName

Parameter name.

parameterType

Parameter's database type (provider independent).

parameterDir

Parameter's direction.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	Thrown when the parameterName specified is null or an empty string. While permitted by IDbDataParameter, these values would be disallowed by many data providers. Therefore, a non-null, non-empty parameterName must be furnished.
