FilterConnectionString Method

Allows WebScheduleDbProvider subclasses an opportunity to validate or filter an assigned ConnectionString before the Connection is opened.

Parameters

newConnectionString

The new value for the ConnectionString property that has been assigned.

currentConnectionString

Return Value

The filtered newConnectionString, with any invalid properties stripped or altered as determined by the implementation of this method. The implementation of this method may return currentConnectionString if the connection string assignment should be rejected.

Remarks

The base class implementation of FilterConnectionString performs no filtering or validation. It always returns newConnectionString.
