OnInitializeResource Method

Initializes a Resource object that has been retrieved from the data source.

Parameters

resource

A Resource to be initialized and added to the ownerCollection.

ownerCollection

A container to hold the resource once it has been initialized.

Remarks

Inheritors should always call the base class implementation of OnInitializeResource before adding their own extended initialization logic. This ensures the necessary fields of the Resource receive proper initialization, and the Resource has been added to the ownerCollection (as long as it doesn't already exist; duplicate Resources by key are discarded).
