CreateConnection Method (WebScheduleSqlClientProvider)

Establishes a database connection from the supplied ConnectionString to a Microsoft SQL Server instance.

Parameters

connectionStr

A connection string that should be valid for Microsoft SQL Server.

Return Value

A general-purpose IDbConnection representing a database connection usable in a provider-independent manner.

Remarks

Inheritors must override this virtual factory method in order to provide an SqlConnection using the supplied connectionString. CreateConnection will be called by the Connection property when the connection is first demanded.
