DefaultTabStyle Property

Style object used to paint a tab when it is in a normal state (enabled, not selected and has no mouse). Tab
Syntax
'Declaration

Public Property DefaultTabStyle As Style
public Style DefaultTabStyle {get; set;}
Remarks

The TabItem.Style property of a particular tab has priority over that property.

This property is merged with the this.ControlStyle. It means that if the BackColor, ForeColor, Font, or sub-properties related to the border are not set, then values of corresponding properties of the this.ControlStyle are used.

When this property is set, then the reference to the original Style object remains the same, and Style-subproperties are copied using the Style.CopyFrom(...) method.
