Remarks

The Item contains a reference to the object which owns this TemplateContainer. For instance, the DataItem property of the TemplateContainer for a Tree Node object will contain a reference to the DataTreeNode object. Declarative databinding statements can then be used in aspx files to access the properties of the Node object using Eval(Container.OwnerItem("propName")) syntax.
