Bin(Vector,Vector) Method

Returns a new Vector y, where y[i] = n if x[i] is in the nth bin.

Parameters

x

A Vector.

edges

edges[n] and edges[n+1] are the edges of the nth bin.

Return Value

A Vector of bin numbers.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentException	Occurs when there are less than two bin edges.
System.ArgumentException	Occurs when the bin edges are not in increasing order.

Remarks

If x[i] is not in any bin, y[i] = Constant.NaN.
