HierarchyDescriptor Class

Describes the properties of a Hierarchy for a FlatDataSource.

Remarks

A hierarchy is directly associated with one property of the object referenced by the data source's ItemType property.

Hierarchies can appear on the row or column axis, and can also be used for filtering.

Each hierarchy contains one or more levels, each of which typically present the data with progressively more detail.
