GetSubstring(Int32) Method

Retrieves a substring from this controls text, similar to the System.String.Substring(System.Int32) method. The substring starts at a specified character position.

Parameters

startIndex
The zero-based starting character position of a substring in this instance.

Return Value

A System.String object equivalent to the substring that begins at startIndex in this instance, or System.String.Empty if startIndex is equal to the length of this instance.
