SyntaxTreeCreated Event

Occurs after a parse operation when a new SyntaxTree has been created and before it returned.
Syntax
'Declaration

Public Event SyntaxTreeCreated As EventHandler(Of SyntaxTreeCreatedEventArgs)
public event EventHandler<SyntaxTreeCreatedEventArgs> SyntaxTreeCreated
Event Data

The event handler receives an argument of type SyntaxTreeCreatedEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following SyntaxTreeCreatedEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

PropertyDescription
IsCanceled Returns whether the operation has been canceled and therefore the tree will be discarded. (read-only)
SyntaxTree Gets/sets the tree that will be returned from the Parse method.
Remarks

This event can be used to add diagnostics and/or annotations via the SyntaxTree's SyntaxTree.AddAnnotation and SyntaxTree.AddDiagnostic methods. Each of these methods returns a new SyntaxTree that can then be set via the Infragistics.Documents.SyntaxTreeCreatedEventArgs.SyntaxTree property exposed off the event args.

Note: the parse operation is performed by the Infragistics.Documents.TextDocument on a background thread so as to not block the UI e.g. when using a XamSyntaxEditor. Therefore, this method is called on that same background thread as well.
