GetWorkArea(Visual,Point,Visual) Method

Returns the work area of the monitor relative to the top/left of the passed in element

Parameters

element
The specified element
point
The point in element coordinates.
refElement
An optional second element to reference.

Return Value

The rect of the monitor or top level elment.

Remarks

Note: In an XBAP application we don't have access rights to get monitor information. In this situation we look at the refElement, if not null we get the common ancestor element and use its size to construct the rect. If refElement is null then we walk up the visual tree to the top level element and use its size.
