PointToScreenSafe(Visual,Point,Visual) Method

Translates a point relative to an element into screen coordinates

Parameters

element

The specified element

point

The point in element coordinates.

refElement

An optional second element to reference.

Return Value

The point translated into screen coordinates.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	If element is null

Remarks

Note: In an XBAP application we don't have access rights to call PointToScreen. In this situation we look at the refElement, if not null we get the common ancestor element and map the point to it. If refElement is null then we walk up the visual tree to the top level element and map the point to it.
