ClientOnMouseOver Property

Returns or sets a string of text that specifies the name of the JavaScript function to be called when the mouse cursor moves over charted data.

Remarks

The name of the JavaScript function can be user defined or native. For example, to specify that the native function alert should be called, this property could be set to "alert('hello')." To specify that a user-defined function, myFunction, should be called, this property would be set to "myFunction."

A user-defined function must be defined either inline or in a linked JavaScript (.JS) file and can accept the following parameters:

row

Integer. The number of the row that contains the data that was clicked.

column

Integer. The number of the column that contains the data that was clicked.

value

Double. The value of the data that was clicked.

rowLabel

String. The label of the row that contains the data that was clicked.

columnLabel

String. The label of the column that contains the data that was clicked.

eventName

String. The name of the event that occurred. One of "MOUSE_OVER," "MOUSE_OUT," or "MOUSE_CLICKED."
