Tab Class

The Tab object represents a selectable item in the Tab control that will change the contents displayed depending on the settings of the ContentPane object.

Remarks

Notes:

• The Tab may be painted by 4 different styles depending on the instant state of a tab: normal, mouse-over, selected, disabled.
• Every state of tab may have different image.
• The ContentPane of a tab may have the TargetUrl which is rendered as the <IFRAME> html element. Or it may have explicit child controls that are placed within the <DIV> html element and are rendered using the standard logic of the .NET.
  
  If the TargetUrl is not set, then the child controls are rendered automatically.
• Some of the Tab properties can be modified on the client using the JavaScript functionality and persist values between sessions.
• The subproperties of the TabItem.Style are merged with the UltraWebTab.DefaultTabStyle and the UltraWebTab.ControlStyle.
• The subproperties of the HoverStyle are merged with the TabItem.Style, UltraWebTab.HoverTabStyle, UltraWebTab.DefaultTabStyle, and UltraWebTab.ControlStyle
• The subproperties of the SelectedStyle are merged with the TabItem.Style, UltraWebTab.SelectedTabStyle, UltraWebTab.DefaultTabStyle, and UltraWebTab.ControlStyle
• The subproperties of the DisabledStyle are merged with the TabItem.Style, UltraWebTab.DisabledTabStyle, UltraWebTab.DefaultTabStyle, and UltraWebTab.ControlStyle.
  
  If ForeColor is not set, then the Gray color is used automatically.
• The background of the ContentPane is painted by the SelectedStyle.BackColor color.
  
  In order to paint the background of a tab by different color than the background of the ContentPane,- the CustomRules can be used.
