Retrieves the client-side identifier.

Property Value

An identifier suitable for use in client-side scripting languages.

Remarks

The client-side ID replaces any and all '_' and ':' characters within this Control's UniqueID with lowercase 'x' characters. This substitution is necessary to allow correct client-side ID handling and postback parsing.
