LoadPreset(TextReader,Boolean) Method

Loads a preset from a text reader that sets properties affecting appearance, behavior or both.

Parameters

reader

A TextReader object opened to a preset file. The reader will not be closed at the end of the call, and should be closed afterwards.

reset

Whether to reset all properties on this control to their default values before applying the preset.

Remarks

If you experience seemingly arbitrary properties "bleeding" through based on the order in which you apply more than one preset, then you should consider specifying the reset option to clear properties (where possible) before applying subsequent presets.

The reset mechanism depends on control properties having a corresponding Reset method implemented for themselves. It cannot reset properties that do not have a Reset method defined.
