The event handler receives an argument of type RowUpdatingEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following RowUpdatingEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

| Cancel (Inherited from Infragistics.Web.UI.GridControls.EditingEventArgs) | If set to true from inside an event handler the edit is not carried onto the data source and old values are returned to the grid. |
| OldUnboundValues | Old unbound column values. The dictionary contains former values of the row's unbound cells. |
| OldValues | Old values. The hashtable contains former values of the row's cells. If the grid contains templated columns or is bound to some of the fields from the data source, the Values and OldValues must be updated to add those missing values. Otherwise missing cells will be nulled out by the auto update operation. |

| RowID (Inherited from Infragistics.Web.UI.GridControls.EditingEventArgs) | ID of the row the update event is associated with. |
| UnboundValues | New unbound column values. The dictionary consists of the new values to be set on the row's unbound cells. The hash key is the key of corresponding column and the value is the new value to be set. If the values are alternated in the dictionary they are applied to the grid. |
