Imports Infragistics.UltraChart.Shared.Styles
This topic explains how to scale the Chart axis or axes containing the data values. The specific axis that contains the data values will differ based on which chart type is being used.
Before you start writing any code, you should place using/imports directives in your code-behind so you don’t need to always type out a member’s fully qualified name.
In Visual Basic:
Imports Infragistics.UltraChart.Shared.Styles
In C#:
using Infragistics.UltraChart.Shared.Styles;
The ZeroAligned property can be used to set the point where the x and y axes cross. If this property is set to True, then they will cross at data value 0. If this property is set to False, the axes will cross at a value other than 0 that is determined by the data being used.
The interval used to display tick marks or data values on this axis can be determined by either a data interval or a percentage. When the TickmarkStyle property is set to DataInterval, the tick marks will be spaced out by that interval for the span of the axis. To specify the data interval, the TickmarkInterval property must be set.
In Visual Basic:
Me.UltraChart1.Axis.Y.TickmarkStyle = AxisTickStyle.DataInterval Me.UltraChart1.Axis.Y.TickmarkInterval = 25
In C#:
this.ultraChart1.Axis.Y.TickmarkStyle = AxisTickStyle.DataInterval; this.ultraChart1.Axis.Y.TickmarkInterval = 25;
The tick marks can also be displayed based on a percentage. Setting the TickmarkPercentage property will display a tick mark at the specified percentage interval for the span of the axis.
In Visual Basic:
Me.UltraChart1.Axis.Y.TickmarkStyle = AxisTickStyle.Percentage Me.UltraChart1.Axis.Y.TickmarkPercentage = 25
In C#:
this.ultraChart1.Axis.Y.TickmarkStyle = AxisTickStyle.Percentage; this.ultraChart1.Axis.Y.TickmarkPercentage = 25;
