Converts the object to the requested type.

Parameters

context

An System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext that provides a format context.

culture

A System.Globalization.CultureInfo object. If a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) is passed, the current culture is assumed.

value

The System.Object to convert.

destinationType

The System.Type to convert the value parameter to.

Return Value

An System.Object that represents the converted value.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	Thrown when the destinationType is null (Nothing in Visual Basic .NET).
