Introduction

This topic provides reference information about the properties that are specific to the Excel-Style Filtering feature of the WebHierarchicalDataGrid™ control.

The following table summarizes the purpose and functionality of properties of the Excel-Style Filtering of the WebHierarchicalDataGrid control.

Property Description

Configures the capitalization of the individual items in the filtering drop-down list.The allowed values are:

  • Lower (Default) – the items appear in lowercase letters

  • Upper – the items appear in uppercase letters (all caps)

  • Camel – the items appear with sentence capitalization (Only the first letter of the item is capitalized.)

This property can be set on both the parent and child layouts as well as on column level. The column setting has higher priority.

Configures the value for the items in the filtering drop-down for a column with Null values in the data source. It can be set on both the parent and child layouts.
