You must have IBM Rational Functional Tester 7.0.1.1 (or later) installed in order to install Test Automation for IBM Win-Forms (Rational Functional Tester).
To manually set up Test Automation for IBM Win-Forms (Rational Functional Tester) to work with Rational Functional Tester:
Verify that the Test Automation for IBM Win-Forms (Rational Functional Tester) assemblies and customization files exist in the bin and config subfolders of the following default installation folder. These are located in the following directory:
CLR4: C:\Program Files (x86)\Infragistics\2021.1\TestAutomation IBM Win-Forms\CLR40\Bin folder
Remove the Infragistics files from the Rational customization folder. These files are located in the following directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\IBM\RFT\customization
Copy all the files in the bin subfolder to the Rational Functional Tester’s customization folder.
Copy the file with extension "rftcust" file from the config subfolder to the customization folder.
Open the file with extension “rftop” in notepad and copy all text between <!-- START: TestAutomation RecognitionProperties --> and <!-- END: TestAutomation RecognitionProperties -->.
Paste the copied text into the “CustomObjRecProp.rftop” file, located in the customization folder, after the following <Net> tag.
Restart your machine to ensure that all processes that references the Rational Functional Tester assemblies are restarted.
