GetCellValue Method

Returns the value of the cell which corresponds to the specified UltraTreeNodeColumn for this UltraTreeNode.

Parameters

column

The UltraTreeNodeColumn instance which defines the cell whose value is to be returned.

Remarks

Note: The GetCellValue property can be used as an alternative to accessing the Value property of the UltraTreeNodeCell object; accessing members of the UltraTreeNodeCell object will cause the object to be created if one has not already been, whereas using the GetCellValue method will not cause an object to be created.

Example

The following code sample demonstrates how to use the UltraTreeNode's GetCellText and GetCellValue methods to obtain the actual value and display value of a cell without creating an UltraTreeNodeCell object.
