ValueListItemMatchingMode Enumeration

Constants which describe the manner in which a ValueListItem is evaluated when comparing it to user input.

Member	Description
AllowConvertDataValueToString	The string representation of the item's DataValue will be considered when attempting to match a ValueListItem during searches. For example, if the user types a value in the edit portion of an EditorWithCombo, and that value matches the string representation of the DataValue of some item in the list, that item is considered to match the user input and the item is selected when the dropdown appears.
DoNotConvertDataValueToString	The item's DataValue is not converted to a string when the item is evaluated for a match during searches. For example, if the user types a value in the edit portion of an EditorWithCombo, and that value matches the string representation of the DataValue of some item in the list, that item is not considered to match the user input, and the search continues until an item is found whose DisplayText matches the input value. This setting can be used to eliminate ambiguity in cases where the string representation of the data value of one item matches the display text of some other item.
