ReserveImageSpace Property (UltraExplorerBarItemSettings)

Gets/sets whether space will be reserved for items whose resolved appearance does not contain an image, and whose UseDefaultImage property resolves to false.

Remarks

By default, space is reserved for the UltraExplorerBarItem's image, even when the resolved appearance does not contain one, and the UseDefaultImage property resolves to false.

When set to false, the ReserveImageSpace property prevents the additional space from being reserved, provided that the appearance resolves a null image and the UseDefaultImage property resolves to false.

Note: The ReserveImageSpace property does not apply to items that belong to an UltraExplorerBarGroup whose Style property resolves to one of the following values:

  • SmallImages
  • LargeImages
  • LargeImagesWithText

Note: The ReserveImageSpace property defaults to true for all item and control styles, except for the following exclusion:

  • Items whose Style resolves to Label, when the control's Style property is set to OutlookNavigationPane.
