Width Property (ToolPropsBase)

Gets or sets the width for either all tools or a specific instance.

Property Value

The width for either all tools or a specific instance.
Exceptions
ExceptionDescription
System.InvalidOperationExceptionThe value is assigned and the associated tool's ShouldSerializeWidthProperties is False.
System.NotSupportedExceptionThe property is modified at design-time for a tool in an UltraToolbarsManager defined on a base Form or UserControl. Inherited tools must be modified at run-time or at design-time through the designer of the Form or UserControl they were created on.
Remarks

When set for the SharedProps object, this property specifies the width for all instances of a tool that have not had their width explicitly set. When set for the InstanceProps object, this property specifies the width for one instance of a tool.

The ToolBase.WidthResolved property is used to resolve the width of a tool.

The MinWidth and MaxWidth properties can be used to specify the minimum and maximum widths, respectively, of a tool.

Note: Width cannot be set on a button tool. The width of a button is determined by its DisplayStyle. If you attempt to set the Width on a button tool, an error will occur.
