MustDisplayFromList Method (EmbeddableEditorOwnerBase)

Returns whether the text an element displays must correspond to the text of an item in a list

Parameters

ownerContext

The context that was passed into the GetEmbeddableElement(UIElement,EmbeddableEditorOwnerBase,Object,EmbeddableUIElementBase) method.

Return Value

If true and the editor's Value does not match an item in the list, an empty string will be displayed.

Remarks

The default implementation returns true, meaning that if an editor's Value does not correspond to an item in the list, and MustSelectFromList returns true, an empty string will be displayed.Note:The base class implementation will always return false when MustSelectFromList returns false.
