Exporting Multiple WinGrids to Word

The WinGridWordWriter™ component enables you to export multiple WinGrid™ controls to a new Word document using the Export method, based on the WordDocumentWriter object within the Infragisitcs.Documents.IO assembly. The Export method accepts the WinGrid control that you wish to export and the WordDocumentWriter object as parameters.

The following code illustrates the export of two UltraGrid controls along with supporting paragraphs and titles to a new Word document.

A reference to the Infragistics3.Documents.IO, Infragistics3.Win.UltraWinGrid.WordWriter and Infragistics4.Win.UltraWinGrid assemblies are required.

To begin, drag and drop from the toolbox two UltraGrid controls and an UltraGridWordWriter component onto the form. Bind the UltraGrid controls to the Products and Categories tables of the Northwind database respectively in the Form Load event handler.
