Disabling the Test Automation for Micro Focus WPF Using the Version Utility’s Graphical Interface

Introduction

You can disable the Test Automation for Micro Focus WPF product temporary without having to uninstall manually the product when your testing environment is changing. Test Automation has a special tool called “Version Utility” that enables you to do this. It enables you to disable the product either form the command line or with the tools’ wizard-like graphical interface.

The following procedure describes how you disable the Test Automation for Micro Focus WPF product using the Version Utility’s Graphical Interface.

Steps

The table below describes the procedure in detail.

1. Start the Version Utility tool.

Start the user interface of the Version Utility in either of the following ways:

• From the Windows Start Menu shortcut Infragistics > 2021.1 > WPF Test Automation for Micro Focus > Tools

• From the Version Utility executable file residing in <WPF Test Automation Installation Folder>\Tools\Version Utility\InfragisticsWPF.Test.VersionUtility.UI.exe

The Test Automation Version Utility dialog appears.

2. Disable the Test Automation for Micro Focus WPF.

  1. From the drop-down, choose the Disable option and all TA for WPF product configuration files will be removed from the Micro Focus UFT "dat\Extensibility\WPF" folder.

  2. Click Apply to confirm the change.

  3. Click Quit to close the window.
