'Declaration Public Event ShowInsertionPoint As RoutedEventHandler
public event RoutedEventHandler ShowInsertionPoint
The event handler receives an argument of type RoutedEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following RoutedEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.
Property | Description |
---|---|
Handled | Gets or sets a value that indicates the present state of the event handling for a routed event as it travels the route. |
OriginalSource | Gets the original reporting source as determined by pure hit testing, before any possible System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.Source adjustment by a parent class. |
RoutedEvent | Gets or sets the System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.RoutedEvent associated with this System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs instance. |
Source | Gets or sets a reference to the object that raised the event. |
Note: The element that represents the insertion point is defined by the GroupByAreaBase as a TemplatePart with the name 'PART_InsertionPoint'. If you replace the Template of the GroupByAreaBase, you will probably want to include an element with that name. The GroupByAreaBase will automatically move the insertion point as needed when the user drags GroupByAreaFieldLabels. It will also fire this event when the insertion point should be shown. You should include an EventTrigger in your replacement Template that listens for this event and shows the insertion point element.
