IsListContinuous Property (CarouselViewSettings)

Returns true if the XamCarouselPanel should wrap around to the beginning of the list and display the first list item after the last item is displayed. The default is False.

Remarks

Note: When this property is set to true and the total number of items in the list is less than the number of ItemsPerPage, page scrolling is disabled and line scrolling does not wrap to the other end of the list.

The CarouselPanelItem and CarouselListBoxItem objects which wrap each item in the list, expose 2 properties: IsFirstItem and IsLastItem, which you can use in a replacement Template for those objects to highlight the first and last items in the list when IsListContinuous is set to true. This makes it easier for the end user to tell when they have scrolled back to the beginning of the list.

Note: The default styles for the CarouselPanelItem and CarouselListBoxItem objects do not highlight the first and last items.

Example

In this example, the IsListContinuous is set to true so that when you attempt to scroll such that you would go beyond the beginning or end of the list that you would see the last or first items again respectively.
