InitializeAdditionalProperties Method

Initializes properties on a newly constructed concrete IDataParameter that cannot be initialized through it's available constructors.

param

The IDataParameter reference getting initialized.

Return Value

An initialized IDataParameter implementation based on the state of the current DataParameterSurrogate.

Remarks

Inheritors may call this method from their overrides of IConvertible.ToType in order to copy property values from this instance to their newly constructed IDbDataParameter implementation. Inheritors who add additional properties to the DataParameterSurrogate should also override this method, to call the base implementation and then copy any additional properties they have added that were not assignable when the IDbDataParameter implementation was constructed.
