EffectStopDirection Enumeration

Determines the direction in which EffectStops are evaluated in the XamCarouselPanel.

Members

Member	Description
Default	The direction should default to a value that makes sense for the effect being applied.
Horizontal	EffectStops should be evaluated by treating their EffectStop.Offsets as a percentage into a range of values that describe a horizontal extent.
UseItemPath	EffectStops should be evaluated by treating their EffectStop.Offsets as a percentage along the CarouselViewSettings.ItemPath.
Vertical	EffectStops should be evaluated by treating their EffectStop.Offsets as a percentage into a range of values that describe a vertical extent.

Remarks

The enumeration contains values for evaluating EffectStops based on an item's position along the CarouselViewSettings.ItemPath or based on the item's vertical or horizontal position within the XamCarouselPanel.

Example

In the following example, the UseOpacity has been set to true so that the panel will utilize the OpacityEffectStops that have been provided. Since the OpacityEffectStopDirection is set to Vertical, the offsets are calculated with regards to that orientation and items at the bottom will be fully opaque and the items as you move further from the bottom will be more transparent.
